MEET THE STAFF
Monte French
SENIOR MINISTER
I was raised in Iberia, Missouri, was baptized at the age of nine, and was called to ministry at the age of sixteen.
​
I attended Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri, where I completed degrees in New Testament and Preaching. During my last two years there, I also served as the Preacher at Eastside Christian Church in Independence, Missouri.
​
After graduating from OCC, I moved to Denver, Colorado, to attend Denver Seminary, where I graduated with a Master of Arts in New Testament. During that time, I also served at Green Mountain Christian Church in Lakewood, Colorado, as the Pastoral Ministry Intern.
I love reading, spending time in the outdoors, coffee, and the St. Louis Cardinals.
Isaac Karow
ASSOCIATE MINISTER
& YOUTH MINISTER
I was raised in nearby Zumbrota, Minnesota with my two brothers. I grew up in a Christian home, and in my youth attended Concord Church of Christ, Plainview Church of Christ, and Northside Christian Church.

After high school, I planned on attending Minnesota Bible College for two years before planning to move on to another occupation. However, during my time there my desire to serve God's people became persistent.
​
In the fall of 2003, I began serving Marion Church of Christ as an intern. I was officially hired in February 2005 after completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Youth and Family Studies. I have been employed at Marion ever since.
I married my high school sweetheart, Terri, in 2003. Together we have six children.
Kim Pease
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY COORDINATOR
I was born and raised in a small town in western Minnesota. I attended Minnesota Bible College and received a bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies and Theology and a minor in Youth Ministry. A few years later I received a master's degree from St. Mary's University of Minnesota. I've been a member of the Marion Church since 2012 and was drawn to Marion because of the incredible people in this congregation, who from the day you walk in the doors treat you like family. This congregation is incredibly kind, caring, and generous, and I am so thankful to be a part of this church.
I'm honored to be the Children's Ministry Coordinator where I can work with wonderful volunteers whose desire is to serve the Lord through teaching and developing relationships with children. I greatly enjoy the opportunity to work with the children of Marion Road Christian Church as I have a passion for children to have the opportunity to know Jesus in a very personal way.
I find great joy in spending time with my son, hiking, music, exercise, and traveling around the country whenever I have the opportunity.
Whitney French
OFFICE & CHILDREN'S MINISTRY ADMINISTRATOR
I was born in Rochester and grew up attending Marion Church. Some of my favorite memories are going to Vacation Bible School and Pine Haven Christian Assembly each summer. I returned to Marion after attending some other wonderful churches because of the true family feel and the heritage of faithful followers of Christ.
I went to Northwestern College in St. Paul where I studied Youth Ministry. I have the privilege of being the Office Administrator as well as the Children's Ministry Administrator at Marion. Both roles give me the opportunity to care for people and keep things organized - two things I care deeply about.
Some of my passions in life are kids of all ages, spending time with our little son Max, being creative, and drinking lots of coffee!
